In 1972, A-Res grade were runners to TAS in the One Day Final. Waratahs collapsed, batting first and if it hadn't been for Allan Smith and Terry Mackenzie adding 42 for the 9th wicket, there eventual 111 would have even sicker. Despite Waratahs having a first three who would all bowl successfully in A grade, TAS got away to a flier, being 1-80 at one stage until Bob Barwick's leg spin got them back into the match.

In 1989, wicketkeeper Laurie Hagan (#591) held 3 catches in an innings for 4th grade v Centrals.
