ON THIS DAY - 1st November

In 1958,TED CROTTY (#98) went onto the Best Match Performance list when he took 6-59 in Dumaresq's first day 213 and then made 119 not out as Waratahs took a two run first innings lead.

In 1986, Waratahs recorded the biggest ever victory in 2nd grade, beating Uralla by an innings and 181 runs, with Matt Campbell and David Laurence scoring hundreds on the first day and Steve Reading and David Tilbury taking 13 Uralla wickets between them. In 3rd grade, ALBERT HOFKAMP (#476) took 3 catches in an innings v Uralla.
