ON THIS DAY - 28th February

In 1976, BRIAN JOICE (#218) bagged the best match figures of any Waratahs bowler, taking 14-55 (6-31 & 8-25) for A-Res grade v Uralla. Unfortunately, no detailed scorecard exists. The figures were only revealed last year when Lango was searching through an old Yearbook, which had been compiled when bowling performances for innings were recorded for 6-fas.

In 2004, (new record) MICHAEL McCULLOCH (#830) took 7-23 for 3rd grade v Uralla. (no scorecard ... yet)
