In 1961, ALAN GRAY (#26) made 90 as A grade shut out the powerful Uralla side at the Armidale Sportsground. After John Roberts grabbed three of Uralla's top four (Walter Taylor, Bruce Kellaway & Frank Taylor is a good day out), Waratahs batted well into the second day with Father Gray top scoring among some goods hands.

In A-Res grade, JEFF WALSH (#84) had his best match with the ball, taking 11-42 (4-29 & 7-13) as Waratahs crushed Far East. Except for a few overs in the first innings, Walsh and D Boundy bowled unchanged to rout Far Easts for 103 & 42.

In 1984,TONY BENNETT (#355) held 3 catches in an innings for 2nd grade v St Peters. Looking through the scoresheet, it was no surprise to see Ian Watts getting a handy red ink for the Saints but its hard to know what was more astounding: him taking 4 wickets or bowling 23 overs?

In 1995, MATT PINE (#621) and ANDREW WILLIS (#675) added 170 unbeaten for the first wicket for 2nd grade v Norths, giving Waratahs a ten wicket victory. Matt finished on 93 not out - his second not out ninety for the season!
