In 1958, TED CROTTY (#98) gave one of the best match performances of any player in Waratahs history. Playing for B grade in an absolute cracker of match, Crotty took 6-59 as Dumaresq posted a competitive 213 and then made 119 as Waratahs chased down Dumaresq's 213 and led by just two runs. Crotty took three more wickets in Dumaresq's 134 and then made 21 as Waratahs launched themselves at the outright victory, eventually getting there with one wicket to spare, after a late crash saw 6 wickets fall for just 24. Graham Hooper eventually steered them home in a last wicket partnership of 16 with P Wadley.

Not such a good game for G BRETT (#92) who made a pair for A grade v Armidale Teachers College.

In 1980, MATT CAMPBELL (#363) and VICTOR CREW (#399) added 151 for the 3rd wicket for B grade v Centrals. Crewy made an even 100, his only Waratahs ton. After a long partnership, both players were out in the same over.

In 1997, ALBERT HOFKAMP (#476) had the misfortune of a pair for 3rd grade v Churches.
