In 1960, ERIC SMITH (#82) took his best match figures, 12-67 (8-34 & 4-33) for A grade in a very rare - early history - outright victory over Uralla. The victory was likely won because Walter Taylor failed twice.

In A-Res grade, ARTY SEE (#81) became the first only three Waratahs batsmen to score a century and a fifty in the same match. He is also one of only eight to carry his bat and he also had taken ten wickets in a another match, making him the rarest of birds.

In 1971, BOB BARWICK (#234) had career best figures of 7-30 for A-Res grade v Easts. With 102 wickets, Bob is our second most successful orthodox leg spinner behind Mark Charter.

In 1982, wicketkeeper JASON KELLHER (#415) took 4 dismissals (2 cat, 2 st) for 4th grade v Churches.

In 1988, PETER LANGSTON (#357) made 153 for 3rd grade in a 40 over game v Easts. He is one of only three batsmen to score two scores over 150. His innings was 69% of the teams total of 221. Only Brian Rhodes 128 of 168 (76%) has a higher percentage of a teams completed innings among century makers. Lango added 170 with NICK ENTSCH (#546) for the 3rd wicket, a grade record, after coming in at 2-4 (Breusch and Hadfield for ducks and 4 wides) on the fourth ball of the innings and being out on the first ball of the last over. There were 4 ducks in the Waratahs innings.
