Paul Hoffman: A Unique Cricketing Journey
Paul Hoffman’s cricketing journey was a truly global one, with Manly playing a key role in his early career.
He represented the club during the early to mid-1990s, concluding his stint in the 1995/96 season.
During this time, Paul established an outstanding record, claiming 108 wickets at an impressive average of 19.76 — the majority of which came in First Grade.
Following his time at Manly, Paul moved to Scotland, where he continued to excel at club level with Glasgow-based side Uddingston. His consistent performances earned him qualification as a local player for Scotland.
His international career was notable, featuring in 97 List A matches, 18 One Day Internationals, and 9 First Class games, during which he took a total of 142 wickets.
Today, Paul remains actively involved in the game, serving as an umpire in the Scottish National League, continuing his lifelong commitment to cricket.
