Northern NSW Emu Cricket Club Invite Northern NSW Players to Tour Scotland in 2027

The EMUs Cricket touring team is inviting talented and committed young cricketers from Northern NSW to express their interest in representing the region on a proposed two-week tour of Scotland in June 2027.

Combining competitive cricket with international travel, the tour aims to give players the opportunity to test themselves against quality opposition, develop friendships and experience Scottish culture.

Competitive cricket and an international experience

The proposed program includes both T20 and 50-over matches against Scottish county representative teams, Scotland A, Scotland Over 40s, Scotland Under 19s and other quality opposition. The tour is planned to be based at the University of Stirling.

A typical week would feature matches on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, sightseeing or rest on Wednesday, and rest or touring on the weekend. The program is proposed and may change.

Who can apply?

The primary player group is aged 18–26, with expressions of interest invited from the North Coastal, Central North and Newcastle zones. Applicants should have strong standard and representative experience, be capable of playing competitive T20 and 50-over cricket, and be available for the proposed June 2027 tour and associated team commitments.
