Northern District Cricket Club is incredibly proud to announce that Simon “Trowelly” Trowell has been elected as the club’s newest Life Member.

I am a dedicated lower-grade senior player and trusted clubman for the Gordon District Cricket Club in NSW Premier Cricket.

I was appointed Gordon's Fifth Grade Captain for the 2022–23 season.

I joined Penrith Cricket Club in 2024. It's been a fantastic environment to keep developing my game, and I'm really proud to be part of the Penrith family.

Season 2025-26 brought to an end the Australia cricket playing career of Usman Khawaja–one of Randwick Petersham’s favourite sons. After 88 Test matches, 40 ODIs and 9 T20s for his country, Usman walked off the Sydney Cricket Ground after the 5th Test v England for the last time

At the Randwick Petersham Annual General Meeting on Thursday 30 July 2026, Michael Whitney AM, was elected to serve his 26th consecutive year as President of the club. That placed him fourth on the list of long-serving presidents of NSW Premier Cricket clubs.
